Cell Phones Radiation Effects on Honeybees The GlideCycle Demo Was Awesome!
Nov 13

You have probably seen the GlideCycle on Good Day Sacramento. Many people have. For some it has been an interesting piece of news. For others, it was another cool device that has just been invented. But for Mark, it looked like it might be the answer he has long been looking for. After spending almost half of his life in a wheelchair because of a traumatic brain injury when he was only 17 years old, Mark has finally found a device that could help him experience the joy of walking again.

Right now, Mark is in an adaptive exercise program at American River College in Sacramento. We have an appointment with him this Tuesday at noon at American River College where, together with his therapist, he will try the GlideCycle for the first time. Isn’t this exciting?!

Mark has been exercising and has strength in his muscles, but he does not have coordination, that is why we will first have him on a GlideTrak. Then, we will have him try the GlideCycle with assistance. The best device for him would be a GlideCycle Quad, which is custom made, has 4 wheels and it is best for people who lack coordination but would still like to use the device outdoors, not just run on a GlideTrak.

Here is a video where you can see how the GlideTrak works:

So, this is what we are looking forward to for next week. We will let you know how it went.

Wishing you all a great weekend!
